As of November 12, 2013 we had disabled auto-provisioning for this type of Virtual Server. We have also added a few changes to the TOS, specifically in Section 11 under Dedicated/Virtual Servers. During the initial order, clients are required to provide a FQDN of Fully Qualified Domain Name for their server within 36 hours. Clients also must specify the use for this machine, an example would be Web Server, Voice Server, Game Server, etc.. The reason behind this is because SPAMMERS love KVM servers and they have proved this to us all this month. As an administrator, we do our best to prevent these things from happening. Due to the virtualization of KVM servers we have no way of monitoring the virtual server files and the SPAMMERS know this.

We will review the order and if everything is acceptable, we will then process the order. This is only for new clients and does not pertain to current clients that may want a KVM server. Client are responsible to make sure the info provided is 100% correct. Phone numbers are included as our system will call and verify. It's sad that things have to be this way, but it only takes a few bad apples to spoil it for everyone.
